The SurfingLakes app provides convenient access to essential NWS and NOAA data to assist in predicting wave conditions across all the Great Lakes.

• Buoy Data with information on Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Wave Height, Wave Direction, and Dominant Period for American Buoys. Canadian Buoy data includes Wind Speed, Direction, Wave Height, and Period when deployed on the lakes.
• Nearshore Forecasts from the NWS for the American Side of the Great Lakes (where available).
• Animated Wave Forecasts from NOAA GLCFS for the Great Lakes.
• Animated Wind Forecasts from NOAA GLCFS for the Great Lakes.
